Join us for a journey into Wellness at this year’s MYBA Charter show in Genoa, Italy from 2-5 May 2016.
The Genoa Show is an exhibition of yachts for charter, and this year’s show is featuring 60+ top yachts available in the Mediterranean this summer.
One again Revitalize is providing a Wellness cocoon located in the main MYBA reception area. The team is comprised of Wellness professionals from an interesting and diverse range of disciplines, showcasing their treatments which they can offer onboard. Practitioners are offering mini-treatments ranging from yoga, massage, osteopathy, chinese medicine, sound therapy and more! Come and discover something new.

PRACTITIONERS:
Noona Ayres: Yoga & Reiki
Noona is the founder of Revitalize. She teaches Integral yoga and is a Reiki Master in the south of France. Offerings include studio classes, Pop Up classes outdoors, as well as private classes in villas and on board yachts and retreats. Integral Yoga is a form of Hatha Yoga which is accessible to all ages, levels of fitness and ability. Leading you mindfully through the series of Asanas (postures), each class also includes pranayama (breath work), deep relaxation and meditation to leave you feeling stretched, refreshed and revitalized. After many years working in the yachting industry both as crew and in charter, she now dedicates her time to Wellness through yoga, Reiki and meditation. Noona is a Yoga Alliance Registered Teacher and is also trained in Pre & Post Natal Yoga. There will be lunchtime and evening yoga classes each day during the show: 12.45 – 13.30 and 17.45-18.30.
Trained as a Reiki Master Teacher, Noona offers mini Reiki treatments throughout the show. Reiki is a form of energy healing which reduces stress and fatigue and leaves you with a great sense of well-being and feeling more able to deal with the pressures of life.
Filipa Rodrigo: Chinese Medicine, Acupuncture and Massage
Filipa Rodrigo is a Specialist in Traditional Chinese Medicine. She supports clients on their Health and Wellness transformation. After an individualized assessment Filipa combines the application of Acupuncture, Tuina Massage, Cupping, Moxabustion, Nutrition and Lifestyle recommendations to achieve the best outcome possible for each client. After her Master in Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine, China, she has dedicated herself to an international clientele, European and American, both at land and at sea.
During the Genoa Yacht Show Filipa will be performing an individualized assessment combined with TuiNa Massage.
Roel van Kuijck: Massage Therapist
Joel Patureau and Roel van Kuijck created Blue Tree Massage 3 years ago to share their passion of wellbeing massages which has been continually enriched through extensive voyages all over the world, into the heart of different cultures that are bathed in the traditions of massage. Certified professional masseurs, they master the techniques of some of the widest worldwide choices of massages, including Californian, Swedish, Deep Tissue, Shiatsu, Reflexology, Korean Relaxation, Anti Jetlag, Tired legs, Anti cellulite and more. Blue Tree Massage proposes personalized treatments by creating a luxurious spa ambiance for an exceptional wellbeing on yachts, villas and hotels.
He will be offering Swedish massage at the show.

Mirka Matejkova: Reflexology and Massage
Mirka has been a Massage Therapist and Reflexologist for more than 7 years. She finished Master degree in Physiology at Charles University in Prague and she moved to France in 2013. During reflexology treatments she applies pressure to specific points on the feet and she can detect subtle imbalances, restore the body´s equilibrium of yin and yang, encourage healing, strengthen the body and help keep your mind and spirit in complete harmony. Mirka´s Well-being massages (Deep Tissue, Sports, Relaxing, Swedish, Hawaiian, Head & Facial) together with Reiki work holistically, bring balance to the structures of the body by effectively manipulating the muscles and soft tissues, ease pain and stiffness in tense aching muscles and increase muscular suppleness. Her treatments leave you feeling relaxed and invigorated, supple and refreshed. She’s based in the South of France and is available for treatments in Villas, Hotels and Yachts.
Louise Vaughan-Arbuckle: Sound Therapy, Reflexology and Massage
Louise has been working full time as an holistic therapist in France since 2001. Every treatment is tailor made to the specific requirements on the day. Each of the therapies offered can be used as standalone or combined. Louise uses her skills and expertise to help boost energy levels, reduce stress, bring flexibility back into the body, find clarity of mind and a sense of wellbeing. An hour or 90 minutes treatment allows the body and mind to relax, rest and re-source. Louise works in clinics in Antibes and Beausoleil/Monaco as well as on yachts and in villas.
At the show you’ll be able to choose between massage, reflexology and sound therapy.
Caroline Blackburn: Massage Therapist
Caroline, founder and Massage Therapist of Control Movement Body (CMB) has experienced her share of injuries during her career as an Olympic athlete. Qualified with a BSc (Hons) in Sports Studies and a Diploma in Sports Injury and Rehabilitation, she has over 17 years of experience. Her high standard of experience and knowledge of Sports, Deep Tissue, Relaxation and Pregnancy Massage has allowed her to help people from all walks of life and professions. She offers a range of different massage techniques to help with muscular tightness, pain, injury, stress, tiredness or quite simply, pure relaxation. CMB has a friendly and professional approach. Treatments are available at the clinic in the centre of Antibes with it’s spa-like ambiance, on board your yacht and in private homes all along the Cote d’Azur.
Rachael Dickens: Osteopath
Rachael Dickens set up English Osteopath 14 years ago, and now has clinics in Antibes and Monaco, 15 therapists and three full time osteopaths. They understand the yachting world and are able to deliver the type of professional and discreet medical service that is required to both crew and owners/guests, even at 10pm on the French Bastille Day. English Osteopath recognise that during busy charters the crew do not know that it is Sunday! but, nonetheless will always answer the phone and sort out any medical crisis that you give them. They have links with all types of specialists and will call them on your behalf. They have been known to go on a call out in high season and bring the crew member home with them, so that the boat can house temporary crew to replace their broken ones! Rachael Dickens decided to become an osteopath after a bad injury left her paralysed in both legs. It was only after her mother kidnapped her from the hospital and took her to see an osteopath that she started her recovery. She gave up a career as a publisher with the Daily Mail group and then 5 years later qualified from the prestigious British School of Osteopathy. Aside from the clinics she is the head Medic for a UK charity that takes amputee soldiers, blown up in Afghanistan, skiing.
